DIY's For The Guys!

Happy Summer!

While every First Friday in Royal Square is sure to be filled with good vibes and cool activities, we had an extra fun time being a part of June's FF; the theme was "Dudes and Brews"-- the perfect Guy's-Night-Out. The whole neighborhood joined in for a night of manly festivities, from craft beer tasting to a gorgeous display of classic cars. In addition, the Parliament brought some creative energy to Royal Square with guy-themed DIY project instructions and a rad 90's themed gallery exhibit which will be up until the end of this month. If you didn't get to stop by on First Friday, here are the instructions for some awesome projects to try:

Altoids Grill

Seriously, how cool is this?! This mini-grill is perfect for burger sliders or hot dogs. Reminder: even though it's miniature and harmless-looking, these will heat up pretty fast and should be used with caution! Enjoy, grillmasters

Summertime at The Parliament means lots of creating with and inspiring each other, and we think DIY projects like these are a great place to start. While we featured them at a "guy-themed" event, these projects are just as fun for the ladies. Happy crafting!
