Eyes on the World

Opening reception: Friday, Jan. 5 from 5-9 p.m
The world we live in is a complicated place filled with tragic events, natural disasters, social issues, and complex political topics. Much of the world’s greatest art has come out of a reaction to current events. The Parliament is requesting that artists submit work that is inspired by a recent event.
Please send the following information to Kate Harmon at firstname.lastname@example.org
- Full name, address, and phone number
- Up to 10 images that clearly depict the artwork. All files must be named as follows: First name Last name_Title of piece_Medium_Height x Width.jpg (Example: John Smith_Untitled_Mixed Media_10x14.jpg). We ask that all images are high-quality for marketing and promotional purposes (Credit will be given if images are used).
- Pricing for each piece.
- An artist statement that describes your submitted work.
All entries MUST be received on or before Friday, Dec. 23. Artists will be notified of acceptance on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
Upon acceptance, artwork will be due to the gallery by Wednesday, Jan. 3. Additional drop off hours can be arranged if needed.
Gallery Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 11a - 3p.
