Open Juried Exhibition

The Parliament Arts Organization announces an open call for entries for its very first ever juried exhibition, on display July 7, 2018 – August 14, 2018 at the the Parliament Gallery York, PA. This juried exhibition is open to all artists aged 18 and over.
The gallery invites both emerging artists and professional artist to enter. The goal of this show is to bring a fresh perspective of contemporary art to the area and to give the artist the freedom to enter a piece(s) that best represents their talent. Artists are free to choose any subject matter they wish.
Artwork may be created from any media, in both 2-D and 3-D with the exception of video works. Work must not have been previously included in a Parliament exhibit. A diptych or triptych is considered a single work. 2-D works must be suitably framed or edge-finished and not larger than 30″ (including frame).
The TBA juror will select pieces to be displayed, and will honor 3 winners and 3 honorable mentions
$1,000 in cash will be awarded!!! First place award will be $500; second place, $300; third place $200; and 3 Honorable Mentions.
The entry fee is $15 for Parliament members and $30 for non-members – for up to 3 entries.
Parliament Gallery will take a 30% commission on sales for non-members and 20% for members. Sales transactions will be made by Parliament Gallery.
June 17: Submission deadline (this will NOT be extended)
June 23: Notifications begin
June 30: Artwork due to Parliament
July 6: Opening reception. Awards presentation.
August 13: Pick up begins during gallery hours
