Meet some artists that we have had the pleasure to show
Andrea Gingerich is a York, Pennsylvania artist and photographer with a background in environmental science. Her artwork often portrays nature in a whimsical, abstract form with bright colors, linework and patterns. All of her artwork is intuitive with no set plans in the creation process, which she finds to reduce stress and anxiety.
My first camera was given to me as a gift at 16 and I haven’t stopped taking photos since. Through a combination of education and a curious nature, I have experimented with films, papers, processes and special effects, genres, styles, subjects. My interest at this point is exploration, art, experimentation, discovery. This and all aspects of photography - shooting, developing, digitally processing. I like to push boundaries blending subjects, colors, patterns, and light to create something that feels right. Life is a wonder opening doors to magical places.
Brittany “Brittany Nicole” Dorm, born in York, PA, started modeling at a young age. Landing the cover of Child Magazine with her father 1999, she was kind of “born into it”. She was signed to the Wilhelmina Models Agency and got the opportunity to model for such brands as The Bon Ton, Strawbridge & Clothier, Macy’s, and more. Upon being on set, Brittany learned to appreciate the aspects of being behind the scenes and developed a love for the camera. She was given her first film camera in the 5th grade, where she started with pictures of nature, animals & food (before Instagram existed). Her experience with modeling has given her an advantage in photography, as she knows what it takes to get the shot and knows what will sell the product.
“You can’t shoot everyone the same. Different angles and lighting conditions compliment different body types and tones. It’s important to recognize the uniqueness in your subjects and know how to adapt to bring out the best results.”
— Brittany Nicole

Duane Gavins, known as Dizzuane (Pronounced Dizz-Wayne) or Dizz, is a Baltimore-based artist.
"My main inspiration for my art is usually based on how I'm feeling, my surroundings, and what music or television I'm listening to or watching. I like to credit the development of my style to myself, of course, but also the illustration styles of Dr. Suess.
On my journey so far, I've learned to be confident in my art and that everything has happened for a reason. The biggest thing I've learned is, not to compare my path to success with anyone else's because everyone has their own path, and their own rate of success."

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Collage satisfies the collector in me. I love to recycle, recreate and reuse discarded books, brochures and items that often end up on a recycling bin. Painting my own collage papers is a common practice as well. My inspiration comes from the rustling of leaves, the color of the evening sky and the joy in my heart. Art is poetry in my world.
