Just in time to celebrate Independence Day, The Parliament has collaborated with Americans across the nation to present our show, "Guess We’re Already There." Works of various mediums and styles have been selected to reflect the diverse nature of American culture. We hope that this exhibit inspires much important discussion surrounding the current issues our country faces, as well as a reflection on why we’re proud to call America our home! Stop by The Parliament and see what artists nationwide have to say about the good ol’ U.S. of A.

What is Spring Forward?
Spring Forward is a celebration of community, emerging artists and fashion coming together for an evening of spring inspiration. Local and international art will be paired with models styled from downtown merchants to reflect the artists’ vision within their pieces. To do this The Parliament Arts Organization is bringing together area experts on art, fashion, and photography and collaborating with downtown merchants to produce a look book and then launching it with a great community event for the Grand-Opening of the Bond of York.

The event will include an art exhibit and live model presentation. The models will then be positioned with their complementary piece of artwork for guests to interact with. Refreshments and catered food will be provided before and after the presentation, courtesy of The JDK Group.

What is the Spring Forward Look Book?
The Spring Forward Look Book is a mini magazine featuring each modeled garment or accessory and it’s complementary piece of artwork for the Spring 2015 fashion season. This book will be styled by Hilary Arthur of Arthur & Daughters, shot by Allison Given of The Susquehanna Photographic.
